New CameraAll the other pictures I've taken have been taken with my mom's little Nikon digital camera.
My dad seemed to notice my interest in photography and today, out of the blue, called me into his study/office room. Sitting on his desk was his Nikon D100. When I walked in he told me that as a "birthday" present, he was giving me his Nikon. He also included the Multi Function Battery Pack and a few other things.
He has plenty of other cameras, so I know he wont miss this one. I was eying his Canon AE-1. The lens on that thing was beautiful. I laughed when my dad called it his baby. If I take that photography course at school, there's a lab I'm required to take where you learn to develop pictures. I might ask to use the Canon if I take the course.
Anywho, tomorrow I'll be hitting the local parks and trails for photos.
